TERMS AND CONDITIONS – RATTA RÄTT DRIVING SCHOOL AB
Ratta Rätt Driving School AB has operated as a limited liability company since 1999 and is registered for F-tax in Sweden. We provide driving licence training, mandatory risk education courses, and introductory (supervisor) courses for Category B driving licences.
§1 Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions
By registering with Ratta Rätt Driving School AB, purchasing or booking any of the driving school's products or services, you become a customer and user of our services and thereby accept these Terms and Conditions.
§2 Minors
If you are under the age of 18, Swedish law requires the consent of your parent(s) or legal guardian before you may accept these Terms and Conditions. Prior to registration, you must provide the driving school with written consent signed by your parent(s) or legal guardian, unless such consent can be verified by another acceptable method.
§3 Personal Account via Teoricentralen
Your account is personal and may only be used by you. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Ratta Rätt Driving School AB accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from unauthorised access to your account by a third party.
As a customer, you will have access to Teoricentralen and its services throughout your training. Ratta Rätt Driving School AB reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account in the event of misuse.
§4 Personal Data
Your personal data consists of the information you provide to us. All personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
All data is stored securely on servers operated by Teoricentralen. You are responsible for informing us of any changes to your address, telephone number or email address to ensure that we can contact you when necessary. You may update your personal information at any time through your account on My Pages:

§5 Prices, Payments, Validity Periods and Refunds
Current prices are published on the driving school's website and are also available at our premises. Prices may be adjusted during the course of your training.
Advance payments, gift cards and purchased training services are valid for one (1) year from the date of payment. Special offers and promotional campaigns are valid for six (6) months unless otherwise stated. Any unused balance expires after the validity period and is non-refundable.
Any discounts are linked to the driving school's package deals, apply only to advance payments, and are valid provided that the entire package is used within its validity period.
Students are responsible for keeping track of the number of driving lessons and training components they have used and for ensuring that all lessons and packages are used before their expiry date.

If a student chooses to terminate a package, or if the training ends before all package components have been used, any remaining balance may only be refunded if the request is made within the package's validity period. Refunds are made after deducting any package discounts received and an administration fee equal to 10% of the package's original price. No refunds will be issued after the validity period has expired.
The driving school accepts payment by Swish, debit/credit card, cash, webshop purchases and bank transfer.
§6 Invoicing
Ratta Rätt Driving School AB offers invoicing for products and services purchased by the customer that are not paid for at the time of booking or purchase.
Invoices are issued digitally via Kivra whenever possible. If the customer is not connected to Kivra, the invoice will be sent by post to the address provided at the time of registration.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that all contact and address details provided are accurate and for notifying the driving school of any changes. Any fees arising from incorrect or outdated information will be charged to the customer.
The payment term is 10 days for both private individuals and businesses. In the event of late or non-payment, the matter will be referred to a debt collection agency.
§7 Special Needs and the Student's Duty to Provide Information
The driving school provides training to all students within the scope of its ordinary expertise and available resources. The driving school does not provide specially trained driving instructors or specially adapted tuition for students with special educational needs, including but not limited to ADHD, dyslexia, neurodevelopmental conditions or similar circumstances.
Before commencing training, students are responsible for informing the driving school of any special educational needs or other circumstances that may affect the delivery of their training.
If a student requires specialised educational support, adapted tuition or expertise that the driving school does not provide, it is the student's responsibility to engage another driving school or training provider offering such services. Ratta Rätt Driving School AB accepts no responsibility for any limitations in the training resulting from the absence of such support.
§8 Booking and Cancellation Policy
A valid learner's permit is required by law in order to participate in driving lessons.
The student is responsible for ensuring that their learner's permit remains valid for all booked driving lessons.
If a valid learner's permit is not held at the time of a booked lesson and the lesson has not been cancelled in accordance with the applicable cancellation policy, the lesson cannot be carried out and will be charged in full without entitlement to a refund or replacement lesson.
To avoid being charged, driving lessons must be cancelled or rescheduled no later than 12:00 noon on the last working day before the scheduled lesson.
Driving lessons scheduled on weekends must be cancelled at least 48 hours before the booked time.
Risk Education Part 1 and Risk Education Part 2 must be cancelled at least 6 days (144 hours) before the scheduled course.
Driving Assessments must be cancelled at least 48 hours before the scheduled time.

Cancellations or changes made by email, telephone, SMS or messages via Teoricentralen are not accepted.
Late cancellations, incorrect cancellations or failure to attend will result in the full lesson or course fee being charged.
Illness and Sick Leave
For a sick notification to be valid, it must be made as soon as you become ill and no later than 07:00 on the day of your scheduled lesson or course.
You must:

State your name and the time of the lesson or course you will miss.
Submit a valid medical certificate.
A valid medical certificate must be submitted within 24 hours, or as soon as it has been issued.
A valid medical certificate means documentation issued by a licensed healthcare professional confirming that you were ill on the relevant date and time.
Sick notifications made at 07:00 or later on the same day are considered invalid, and the lesson or course will be charged in full.
If you have another lesson scheduled the following day, or if your illness continues beyond the first day, cancellations must be made in accordance with the standard cancellation policy, i.e. no later than 12:00 noon on the previous working day.
Sick leave applies only if the student is personally ill and does not apply to caring for a sick child or similar circumstances.
The driving school values honesty and mutual trust but reserves the right to assess and approve all sick notifications in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Repeated sick notifications, suspected misuse or fraudulent claims may result in the sick notification being rejected and the lesson or course being charged in full.
Failure to attend due to cancelled trains, buses or other public transport disruptions does not constitute a valid reason for cancellation. Any compensation claims must be directed to the relevant transport operator.
If your regular instructor is absent due to illness, parental leave for the care of a sick child or another unforeseen circumstance, the driving school will first attempt to provide a substitute instructor. If this is not possible, the lesson or course will be cancelled. Students will normally be notified by SMS. Such cancellations are free of charge and do not entitle the student to any compensation.
The booking and cancellation rules set out in these Terms and Conditions apply solely to cancellations and changes made by students and do not apply to cancellations initiated by the driving school.
§9 Driving Tests Booked Through the Driving School
A pre-test warm-up lesson and the use of the driving school's vehicle for the practical driving test are only available to students who have reached the required standard according to the driving school's training plan, which is approved by the Swedish Transport Agency.
The planning of the driving test, including the recommended number of driving lessons and the timing of the test, is determined jointly by the student and the responsible driving instructor. The number of lessons required before a student is ready for the practical test varies from person to person. Please note that additional driving lessons beyond those included in any package may be necessary. The responsible driving instructor's assessment of the number of lessons required is final.
When a driving test is booked through the driving school, a separate agreement is entered into between the student and the driving school governing the booking and completion of the driving test. If the student is under the age of 18, the agreement must be signed by the student's parent or legal guardian, who thereby accepts the terms and assumes responsibility for the associated financial obligations.
Bookings for driving tests made through the driving school are provisional. Changes to the original training plan, including the number of driving lessons or lessons per week, may increase or decrease depending on the student's progress. If the student cancels or changes booked driving lessons without the approval of the responsible driving instructor, or otherwise departs from the agreed training plan, the driving test may be cancelled or postponed.
The driving test will only be carried out if, at the time of the test, the responsible driving instructor considers that the student has reached the required standard according to the driving school's training plan. All training objectives must have been completed satisfactorily. The responsible driving instructor has the final authority to decide whether the driving test will proceed or be postponed. If the student is not considered ready, the test will be rescheduled.
A Driving Assessment is mandatory before the practical driving test and serves as a full mock driving test conducted by the driving school's Director of Education.
Fees charged by the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) for the theory test and practical driving test are not included in the driving school's prices.
By accepting these Terms and Conditions and, where applicable, obtaining the signature of a parent or legal guardian, the driving school undertakes to arrange the driving test. Driving tests are booked in consultation with the responsible driving instructor, who provides the agreement in paper form. The booking is not confirmed until the agreement has been signed.
If these terms are not accepted, the driving school will not arrange the booking, and the student will be responsible for booking the driving test directly with the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket).
§10 Alcohol and Drugs
All students attending Ratta Rätt Driving School AB may, upon request or where there is reasonable suspicion of impairment by alcohol or other intoxicating substances, be required to provide a breath alcohol test before a driving lesson.
If the breath test is not passed, or if the student refuses to take the test when requested, the driving lesson will not take place and the full lesson fee will be charged. A passed breath test means 0.00% BAC (Blood Alcohol Concentration).
Where there is reasonable suspicion that a student is under the influence of illegal drugs or narcotics, the driving school reserves the right to report the matter to the police.
§11 Copyright
All material provided by Ratta Rätt Driving School AB is protected by applicable copyright laws.
§12 Limitation of Liability
Ratta Rätt Driving School AB accepts no responsibility for reminder fees, collection charges or other additional costs resulting from the customer providing incorrect or outdated contact or address information.
§13 Amendments to These Terms and Conditions
Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions through My Pages constitutes the customer's agreement to be bound by them.
When logging into My Pages, Ratta Rätt Driving School AB may request that customers review and accept new or updated Terms and Conditions.
Any amendments to these Terms and Conditions will not affect existing student balances or previously purchased packages. For packages and services paid for in advance, the price applicable at the time of purchase remains valid throughout the package's validity period.
§14 Disputes
Ratta Rätt Driving School AB will always make every reasonable effort to ensure customer satisfaction.
If we fail to meet your expectations, you should first contact Hamma Khorshid at Ratta Rätt Driving School AB so that we can attempt to resolve the matter promptly and amicably.
